The Haze Returns to Penang

: The Haze Returns
It is almost July and the haze has been in Penang for about a month now. The haze is a result of fires burning in Indonesia and it effects Malaysia and much of Southeeast Asia. Teamed with the heat and humidity the haze makes breathing difficult, especially for those with asthma or other respiratory problems. Hopefully soon a few good cooling downpours will get rid of the haze.

Yes, I continue to enjoy life here in Penang, but lately the weather, with the extreme heat and humidity and haze makes it a bit difficult to breath, as I have sinusitis and asthma.

Well pleasing to hear you are enjoying things Malaysian. I shall continue to follow your blogs/adventures with interest. Always enjoyed Malaysia and enjoy reading about people's experiences there. As stated have every intention of spending time there, hopefully in the not to far distant future.
