This is a short article I read from self empowerment about our beloved late Datin Seri Endon Mahmood. Her fight in the cancer has been strong and everyone should learn from her.
Be Brave In Tough Times

We have read a number of articles in the newspapers about the illness of Datin Seri Endon Mamood, wife of the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Dato’ Seri Abdullah Badawi. To speak publicly about her battle against breast cancer requires tremendous courage.
I was fortunate to have a close encounter with heart a small luncheon gathering and I noticed her smile and radiance.
What is it really that has given her so much happiness? In return for her generosity, innocence, honestly, compassion and her sharing that benefited thousands of women suffering in silence, she received blessings from everyone’s heart for a long, healthy and happy life.
The unflinching support of her husband Pak Lah (as all of the children of Malaysia loves to call him), her children and close friends have provided her with the strength to refrain from seeing the dark side.
She is able to accommodate and adjust to this major challenge and this requires no small degree of fearlessness.
She accepts the consequences patiently and copes with all situations. Accepting the inevitable has given her freedom to think constructively and make the right decisions for the future.
Thought for reflection:
If I remain aware that even the smallest gestures can make a difference to people’s lives, I am always blessed with a caring heart.
Personal Note:
Tough times are never easy to coup. But as long as you have that caring heart of others and the perseverance with a positive attitude, even to the very last breath you’d never know what a major difference you can make in your life and others.
When going gets tough, family must stick together.
Smile, because when every thunderstorm is over, rainbow and sunshine will be there waiting for you.
