A neat place to track my health progress
July 17th 2008 02:43
After about a month from training hills, stairs and (occasionally) trails, and settling down the office in a new area, fresh orange fragrance attracted me to this neat little shop a few doors away – the Nutrition Club, where shakes were served to substitute breakfast and lunch.
This neat little place, where I met the health guides Samantha and Andrew Liang, offers the shake with their product mixture from Herbalife, a shake product that can help you to either gain, loose or maintain weight. Besides that, they also keep a close track of your health progress with their nifty scale that can measure your weight, body fat %, water %, muscle mass, physique ratings, BMR, Basal Metabolic age, Bone mass and Visceral fat.
Herbalife was a product that I once consumed, and stopped because of its expensive price; that is why this concept store was created – catering busy people with affordable shakes that could help them to maintain their health progress.
Andrew and Samantha Liang has been persevering this idea in order to help many working adults to realise their current health state and to introduce the goodness of their product as well.
The good part of their shake was not just the product and soymilk. They also research on combinations of cereal, oat, fruits and vegetables in order to create a balanced and nutritious shake that could substitute a meal. They often encourage their customers with different (and sometimes challenging) menus so that they won’t get bored with the limited flavours Herbalife products can offer.
I must say it has been quite an interesting food adventure for me daily ever since I started consuming regularly for breakfast and lunch.
My only (slight) worry is would I be able to achieve my almost ideal weight before the hike begins? I was quite horrified that I was very off from my supposedly healthy range of readings that I made my point that I will do my best to loose 5kg before the hike begins – only to realise that my body doesn’t seemed to agree with my will….
Here is my progress so far after going through discipline diet and exercise… I can only say myself that my body progress is a slow engine. I just hope that it can slowly pick up.

I just went to one of the hills in the federal territory last Saturday and it was a challenging one!
Now I think I have stressed my right ankle a little after I attempted to walk to the night market last night (to-and-fro takes 1 hour) now I need my ankle to rest before next training.
